I've always liked succulents. My mom liked them too. It's not surprising that some of her favorites were hen and chicks. She grew up on a farm. I find them hard to resist. I enjoy their simplicity and diversity, and ability to propagate easily.

A pair of barn swallows returned on Tuesday. It has been cool weather all week. Mowed the entire yard last week with tuned up mower. Went well. Been working in the greenhouse a lot. Weeded 3 times in the upper garden. Nice to be retired and home during the spring season when there is so much to do.
