It’s been a busy summer, and the Lord has blessed us with some productive cattle here at THRCC. These picture are from well over a month ago, but here they are!

First up, we have our PB Char bred heifer. Her name is Ivory. She’s hopefully bred to a red angus calving-ease bull. Looking forward to getting a light red calf out of her and seeing what she can produce.

Second is our PB Simmental bull calf named Arsenal. He’s a Hook’s Eagle x Fort Flurry (Fort Knox x Tinley). He’s growing very well for being the first calf our flurry heifer has raised! He should make an awesome option for heifers!

Last, we have our PB Simmental heifer calf. She’s out of Pays to Believe x “Velvet” (R Plus 6180s x Kuz Miss Red 1’71B). She should be a super productive female for us.

Other matings we are looking forward to this coming Spring are Flurry x Pays to Believe and Velvet x Copperhead. Stay tuned for calf updates as calves are born in February and March!

Up for discussion!

Here’s an updated picture of our Outsider x Firewater heifer. We didn’t get her washed since it’s been pretty cold and windy. However, if she can come this far in just a couple weeks, I’d love to see what she looks like next summer when you have her in the show ring!

Outsider x (Firewater) female is ready to rock and roll! Should make an awesome Cow when you’re finished with her in the ring. So gentle, even our little guy got to go for a ride! Let me know if you’re interested! Updated pictures and videos coming in the next few weeks!

Some updated pictures of the things happening at the farm!
Miss Red had a goggle-eyed bull calf this afternoon!
The embryo PB Charolais heifer calf out of an Outsider x Firewater mating was born a couple days ago!
And Flurry, our chromed up yearling heifer is really looking like a good one!
Looking forward to watching each of these calves grow!

On day six, God created animals that roam the earth, and I’m sure glad he lets us enjoy them!

Also thankful for the opportunity to own this great female from Stanley Martin’s Farm! Purebred homo-polled Cow at Thousand Hills and she’s a gem! She’s a polled non-diluter bred to Golden Dawn Poll-Em-All-Red!

Thankful for salvation through Jesus Christ on this Thanksgiving weekend!

Also thankful for this Fort Knox x Tinley heifer! She is built feminine and the way one should be! Plenty quiet and backed by a great donor in Tinley. Excited to see what this young heifer can produce in the future!

The Lord has blessed us! This PB Simmental Fort Knox x Tinley (Steel Force x Red Jewel) has really turned out to be a great looking heifer for Thousand Hills!
