Why pajamas?

Shortly after our son was born, we were sent to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and spent some time in the NICU. As a brand-new mom, changing diapers was challenging enough—but with wires connected to monitors and IVs, each diaper change felt overwhelming.

We had packed one pair of magnetic pajamas, and they were truly a game changer. Being able to pull cords and IV lines through the middle of the pajamas made diaper changes—and simply holding our baby—so much easier.

Our visit ended up being a surprise, so our son spent most of his time borrowing clothes from the hospital. The hope in purchasing these magnetic pajamas is to make life just a little easier for parents, nurses, and doctors during such a tender time.

Hi friends — I wanted to share a little Wright Farm update. Wright Farm isn’t gone, just resting. I’m in a season of life where family needs more of my time and attention, and I’m choosing to be fully present with them.
I do plan to get back to freezer meals when the time is right, and I’m so grateful for your continued support, patience, and encouragement. In the meantime, grab a breakfast sandwich from Joyful Java, some protein balls from a DNH sporting event or keep me in mind for your private events.

Wright Farm will be taking a short break from monthly orders to enjoy some family time. In the meantime, you can enjoy a Wright Farm breakfast sandwich or quiche at Joyful Java and watch for pickup only sales in the next few months. Please feel free to reach out with other requests. 🐄🐓

Wright Farm would also like to take a moment to thank all customers- whether a monthly order, protein ball at a DNH sporting event, catering event or breakfast sandwich from Joyful Java. This month we celebrated 2 years of Wright Farm and I can’t thank the people around me and the customers enough for your support- it means more than you know to my family and I.

My brother Ben is headed back to Africa for the third time this summer. Wright Farm is selling apple pies this month to purchase medical supplies for his trip. Apple pies made with locally grown apples and homemade pie filling!
