Rogers Market originally started business in the 1920's when Frank Rogers Sr. Soon after they opened their first "stand" by moving a portable chicken shed to the roadside. This was the beginning of a long family tradition that is now in it's 5th generation. Today things are still done the old fashioned way. Quality hand-picked produce, the way it's been done since the beginning.

Rogers Pies continues to thrive despite the closure of our produce business. You can find our pies at West Forty Market in Greene, IA, or place an order for pickup at our location adjacent to Rogers Market at 8326 Waverly Rd, Cedar Falls. Please call 319-290-4082 in advance to order your freshly baked pie. Frozen pies are always available without pre-order. We are now accepting Thanksgiving pie orders.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that this will be the final season for our family business, Rogers Market. After 105 years of operation, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors for good on October 31.

Our stand has evolved over the decades—from Frank selling out of a wagon in town, to the stand at the end of the driveway and then the stand on 218, and finally ending up in our shed on the farm. We have overcome many challenges, but the increased competition from Farmers’ Markets coupled with labor shortages have made it too hard for us to produce enough to compete.

While we are saddened by the closure of Rogers Market, we are grateful for the memories, relationships, and experiences we have gained throughout the years.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!
