The Rooted Carrot Co-op Market has a mission to open a member-owned, full-service grocery store in Cedar Falls. The market will specialize in healthy, local, organic produce and personal care products, where around 40% more of their revenue will return to the community compared to conventional grocery stores. 🍅 Farmer Friday 🚜

Blueridge Orchard is a small, family owned and operated apple orchard, established over 30 years ago with a focus on fresh eating apple varieties located in Denver. Since taking ownership in 2008, they have diversified our orchard to include heirloom apple trees and have created habitat for our resident honeybee colonies and native pollinators.

🌱 Think Fresh Thursday 🥕

"It's just an awesome program, and I really appreciate it. It really helped me through the summer. And what I did do is because they had the fresh produce, I was able to purchase, clean my veggies, and put them in the freezer." -Michelle, Jesse Cosby Center Client

🌞 Veggie Vouchers Host Site Spotlight!

The Jesse Cosby Center is an important partner for this local food access program. Our host sites distribute the vouchers to those in need through their own programs so the participants can shop for fresh, local produce at farmers markets and farm stands. Thanks, Jesse Cosby Center!
