Dear Honey Badger Apiary friends and followers-
It is with profound sadness we share that our founder and owner Andy Clark passed away Monday September 16 due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident near his home.
Locke at Tower Park Mortuary is handling arrangements and those details may be found at:

Andy truly enjoyed learning about best practices for bee care, building and managing hives, and harvesting and sharing honey with his loyal customers. He was very dedicated and invested a lot of time, energy and resources to the apiary. Unfortunately with Andy’s demise Honey Badger Apiary is forced to cease operations. Andy’s legacy will potentially live on as the bees and hives will find new homes.
Andy’s wife (Mrs. Honey Badger) will need those of you who are host sites for bees and hives to please contact her at (319) 269-4556 so she can get your information and address. She intends to collect the bees and hives yet this Fall so they may be relocated before winter.
We sincerely thank you for being a part of the Honey Badger Apiary family. Know that this adventure brought Andy much happiness. He valued being a part of helping bees thrive and sharing their wonderful honey. He took pride in knowing his (and the bees) effort was appreciated and valued by you.
Sincerely, Amy (Mrs. Honey Badger)
