Rolling Thunder Ranch Rolling Thunder Ranch provides natural living conditions for your horse. We have miles of beautiful wooded and river trails to ride. The barn call is free.

Rolling Thunder is dedicated to caring for horses in as natural environment as possible. We strongly believe that they are their happiest running free with their herd mates in green grass pastures. Our main summer pasture consists of 80 fertilized and cross fenced acres of mixed grass. Grazing is rotational to assure top quality forage for your horse and to protect the land. Ample tree lines assur

e that plenty of shade is available as needed. Water is supplied by several ponds fed by natural springs. An 11 Acre pasture is dedicated to senior and retired horses. We will also place horses that do not do well in a large herd in this pasture. During the winter months hay is provided 24/7. Six to seven large round bales are put out in the main winter pasture. This assures that more timid animals are able to get their fill. During dry summer seasons we will place hay in the large pastures to supplement our grass pastures. No horse ever goes hungry at Rolling Thunder. Hay is produced on the ranch so we always know that the hay provided is of the highest quality. Rolling Thunder has an amazing group of boarders that consider this their home. The main activity is trail riding and spending time with their horses. Besides the many trails there is a large round pen for use for training and warming up your horse. An open practice area has been set up and with barrels and poles. This area is located behind our hay barn and trailer parking area. Trailer parking is available and is always FREE. The first Saturday of every month Rolling Thunder sponsors a FREE BARN CALL VETERINARY VISIT. The vet is usually here at 9:00am depending on her earlier morning calls. You only pay for the procedures done. All are welcome to drop by for a visit. Rolling Thunder has very reasonable board and a great group of people that love their horses. If pasture boarding works for you this may be the place for you.
