One last look at the cakes that meant so much to us. 💗

This one was our signature dark chocolate cake layered with rich chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries, finished in soft pinks for the sweetest celebration.

While custom orders have officially come to a close, we finished this chapter exactly how we hoped—creating cakes we were truly proud of. We still have a few favorites we never got around to sharing, so expect a few more sweet memories to pop up here over the coming weeks.

This cake feels like a love letter to everything Chaton en Colère has been for me—whimsical, a little sparkly, and made with so much heart. 💕✨

Vanilla bean cake layered with my classic cereal milk crunch and finished with vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream for sweet Leah’s 4th birthday. 👑

And with this cake, I’m closing a chapter that has meant more to me than I can put into words. While an occasional cake may still appear here and there, I am no longer accepting orders. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to something that brought me so much joy, but I’m grateful for every celebration you trusted me to be a part of and excited to see what comes next.

Here’s to new beginnings, even when they make us a little sad. 🤍

Just married — and wrapped in vanilla bean everything. ✨

This wedding cake was made with layers of white velvet vanilla bean cake filled with silky vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream, finished in the softest vintage piping for a timeless little heart moment.

There’s something extra special about getting to make a cake for a friend’s wedding — equal parts honor, pressure, and happy tears. 🤍

Happy 23rd to my sweet boy! I’ll keep making your cakes as long as you keep requesting weirdly specific themes.

This one is a mango coconut swirl cake filled with toasted coconut Swiss meringue buttercream and fresh mango purée — bright, tropical, a little nostalgic, and made for slow summer birthdays in Texas.

And of course, the cicadas had to make an appearance. Loud, dramatic, impossible to ignore… just like a true Texas summer and the kid who grew up in it. 🦗✨

A little late posting this one, but this cake was far too special not to share 🤍

I had the absolute honor of making this wedding cake for two of my closest friends—people I love dearly—and being even a small part of their day meant everything to me.

We kept it elegant and timeless on the outside, but the flavors inside brought all the personality:
✨ One tier: lemon blueberry with a bright, tangy lemon curd cream filling
🔥 Second tier: our s’mores cake—rich dark chocolate cake layered with toasted marshmallow buttercream (yes, with actual toasted marshmallows mixed in) and finished with a graham cracker streusel for that perfect crunch

Simple, classic, and full of love—just like them.
