I’m searching for some help at the Stable
If you are looking for a part time job here ya go-
Friday Saturday Sunday mornings
6 stalls / run in sheds weekly

Must -
have some horse experience and be comfortable around them
You will be handling every thing from youngsters to older show horses
Reliable- be on time !
I don’t do late
Responsible
Communicate - Ask if you don’t know or understand
I prefer a call rather than txt
Able to follow directions - I’m particular about my stalls
Handle 50 # maybe more

We still have 2 stalls and 3 paddocks open
No RV open
Generators are welcome and you can leave them set up
You will be having the same parking spot

In case of crazy weather we have a plan B

IF you have portable pens you may use them

Payment is required at time of reserving
Non refundable so be sure you do not have as stall at Kirkwood
Venmo PayPal and Zelle are taken

Did not disappoint!

Crazy but made some new friends
Found stalls for everyone
Made parking a little easier
Thanks to Jaci for trimming the tree back a little more 🙄
In total found space for 16 horses and 10 trailers

I am posting this under me instead of Holleys Boarding Stable in hopes it will reach a few more and yes it’s another long one
Feel free to share

Holleys is usually a “Drama Free “barn
We were winding down the evening after an afternoon of lessons, some training and just having a good time riding and playing ball with Miss Harlie
Taking the horses back to the barns to get fed and getting treats for jobs well done
That is until some moron in a silver car decided it was pretty cool to show off his car that sounded like a bad engine missing and firing
That was about 7ish
You with the silver car -
Modified muffler -
Making it pop every time you reved the engine!!! You created a mess !!
Reving it up to miss fire all the way down 76th and turning left onto Ely Rd reving it up all the way
just in time to scare the crap out of a usually quiet 16 hand 1000+ pound Friesian that almost got away from the handler ! That would have been fun to see don’t ya think ?! You didn’t think !!!
Oh and You just missed one of our youth taking her horse back to the barn ! Thank god !
She’s just learning!
What is it about going past the Stable and trying to get a rise out of the horses ?!
And It didn’t end there
Once in the barn we still had to deal with getting him calmed down while the other horses were freaking out !!
They thought it was the 4th of July !
Not a good situation 😡
We are getting pretty tired of the motor cycles going 100 mph !
Vehicles passing farm equipment and horse trailers as they are trying to pull into the farm
at high speeds all because they have NO patience or respect
Probably the white car we’ve been seeing lately
Our horses have more patience and
respect 🤷‍♀️
We have families riding 3-4 times a week. That means kids playing, taking turns riding and training horses and as it is getting dark sooner we are still out there
Now with the arena lites we are out there after dark which makes it more intense when some idiot insists on reving the engine as they go by !!
That all being said some of you will see this and not even read all of it
Others will think “ there she goes again”
And the ones that I’m trying to get through to will scroll through
So I’m asking those of you to let your friends / family whoever you know to be aware of your actions because the results of those bad decisions can and do affect more than you
