Currently planning broilers (meat chickens) that will be ready this June. The plan is for them to arrive in mid-April, brood them until they are old enough to go outside, then raise them on pasture in chicken tractors. Even though they are on pasture, they still need supplemental feed, which will be organic.
We are selling by the bird, and you can buy it whole at $5.50/lb, or in pieces (bone-in breasts, legs/thighs, and wings) at $6.50/lb. The birds will be average 6 lbs each. We are kindly asking for a deposit of half the estimated total up front to reserve your birds.
