HONOR CODE WRESTLING: LAST BATTLE OF CEDARTOWN — SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25TH
This card has a little bit of everything, and almost every match has a reason behind it.
STEEL CAGE MATCH — Lamar Phillips vs “Full Throttle” Frankie Valentine
Lamar Phillips and Frankie Valentine have been crossing paths for 19 years, from Georgia to Tennessee, Florida, Alabama and North Carolina. They started as friends and partners, but over roughly the last five years, every time they’ve been in the same building it has turned into chaos. On October 25th, there’s nowhere to walk away to — they settle it inside a steel cage.
INFAMOUS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH — Chris Gainz vs Ashton Martin vs Zander Whoric
The Infamous Heavyweight Championship has been vacant for three months since AJ Black relinquished it. Chris Gainz, Ashton Martin and Zander Whoric now get the opportunity to change that, with the championship hanging above the ring. No pinfalls and no submissions — somebody has to climb the ladder and bring the title down.
DOG COLLAR MATCH — Sean Nelson vs Zach Malone
Sean Nelson and Zach Malone have been at each other for the last three months, and things finally boiled over at the last show. Nelson laid Malone out using a dog collar, and now Malone gets the chance to settle it in exactly that kind of match. They’ll be chained together with nowhere to go when that bell rings.
LEATHER STRAP MATCH — Ty Rose vs Big Andy
At the last show, Ty Rose took his belt and whipped Big Andy with it. Now the strap is legal, Big Andy gets his chance to answer back, and the fans may even get involved during the match. Anyone who purchased one of the 24 VIP tickets is automatically entered for a chance to participate in the strap match.
LAST MAN STANDING — Shawn Clark vs Allen Shirley
Shawn Clark and Allen Shirley aren’t coming to Cedartown looking for a technical wrestling match. The only way to win is to put the other man down long enough that he can’t answer the count of ten. No excuses, no quick pinfall — somebody has to stay down.
BULL ROPE MATCH — Joey Callahan vs Aiden Wright
After 25 years, multiple championships and wrestling throughout the South, East Coast and beyond, Joey Callahan has decided this will be the end of his career. Aiden Wright is someone Joey helped break into wrestling and helped train — someone Joey considered a brother — which made Aiden’s betrayal and attack on Joey and his son that much more personal. Joey’s body is ready to stop and his mind is ready to rest, but Aiden Wright isn’t going to let his final match be an easy way out.
TAG TEAM MATCH — Air B&B vs The Wonder Boys
The Wonder Boys are actual brothers, while Air B&B have built the kind of bond where they might as well be. Both teams rely heavily on chemistry, timing and knowing exactly where their partner is going to be. The Wonder Boys have blood on their side, but Air B&B have a reminder for everybody: “No one takes flight like Air B&B.”
AND COME HUNGRY — Fuel Hickory Smoked BBQ & Grill will be there!
Fuel Hickory Smoked BBQ & Grill will be on site serving up BBQ, loaded potatoes, ribs, pulled pork and more throughout the night. And yes — the food pictures you’ve been seeing are actual pictures of their food, not AI. Check out Fuel Hickory Smoked BBQ & Grill on Facebook and see for yourself.
