⚠️ Subscriptions Close June 17th & Won’t Reopen Until Next Year

For the first time ever, we’re changing how we offer our meat subscriptions.
In the past, our subscription boxes have been available year-round. Starting now, we’ll only be opening subscriptions twice per year, making this your chance to lock in a box before enrollment closes.
🥩 New subscription box options are now available!
📦 Flexible options to fit your family’s needs.
❤️ Priority access to farm-raised meats delivered regularly.

Subscriptions will close on June 17th, and once they’re gone, enrollment won’t reopen until next year.

Whether you’ve been thinking about trying one or you’ve been waiting for the right time to stock your freezer with trusted, farm-raised meats, this is it.

Thank you for supporting our family farm and allowing us to continue raising food the way we believe it should be raised.
👉 Browse all subscription options and reserve yours before June 17th.

It is easy to get caught up in life and social media and wonder if you’re doing enough for your kids. A chunk of our time together is often spent with us at a computer or a phone in our hand, riding in equipment, or racing out the door to sports or appointments. I sometimes worry that we aren’t doing enough (lovely mom guilt am I right??).

But fixing fence yesterday they caught my eye-covered in dirt, laughing and playing in the field, and just simply happy. Happy to be with us, happy to be outside, and happy to be involved. And it dawned on me that this is the childhood I dreamed about and prayed that they would have.

They are my favorite people and this is my favorite place that we truly enjoy raising our animals on.

Today was our 7th wedding anniversary. Feels both like yesterday and a lifetime ago. I have been so blessed with Jon and the life we have built together.

We spent the day in different directions, I to Reno and Jon to the Bay Area to pick up meat. Maybe one of these years we’ll be in the same place place on our anniversary 😜

Happy anniversary , I love you!

Just out checking his field. 🌱

The warm weather finally showed up and everything is taking off. The wheat and peas are growing fast, the fields are turning that deep spring green, and you can almost watch the changes happen day by day this time of year.

Around here, even the smallest farm hands like to keep an eye on things. Tractor rides turn into “crop checks,” pockets fill with random treasures from the field (thank goodness just rocks-no worms), and somehow they always know exactly where Dad has been working.

This wheat and pea mix will eventually become hay to help feed our animals later on; one season always working toward the next on the farm.

Happy Mothers Day. What an honor it is for us to birth and raise our life’s biggest blessings. I don’t think my heart could be any fuller.

March was BUSY and it flew by in the blink of an eye. We spent every Saturday (except one because we all had a case of whatever sickness was going around) at wrestling tournaments. It was so incredibly fun watching it all start to click for Lane. We just had his end of year banquet and he got an award for his quickness.. and in true Lane fashion, he raced up there the fastest he could to get his award.

We had a really warm March. Jon was able to drag, start discing, and got some spreading done through the breakdowns that just seemed to keep coming.

Calving and lambing was uneventful in a good way. No more loss. And we picked up another milk goat, Etta. She had babies a couple days ago and they may just be our favorite things ever. We adore those little babies.

We plugged along on our homeschool journey and I got to watch Lane in his end of year play production. He was so nervous but did so so well.

I also was a big girl and made my first solo trip alone with the trailer to the processor. I was nervous and a little dramatic for a few days but we had a great trip and got to see my sister and her family!

We also found a goose egg in our yard from a pair of Canadian geese. My dear friend lent us her incubator and we are experimenting with hatching out a goose egg!

We also celebrated Waylon’s 3rd birthday with a family and friend fun day in Redding!

It was a great month!

The 2026 wrestling season has come to an end. What a joy it’s been to watch Lane put things together and get competitive.
He ended today’s tournament with a 2nd place! Had a hiccup with a bloody nose but he finished!

Now we are on to TBall ⚾️

Lane is READY to pack some boxes tomorrow. The highlight of his week is seeing Ernie and helping to put those boxes in the truck… and also because our driver gives him dog treats every time he sees him.

We are shipping to a new state this week and that also has us so excited! There is still time to get a box this week, get on and get your order in!
