Hey all, wanted to give another update. Things have been absolutely crazy on my end.

The land we bought ended up being with a psychopath that hasn't fulfilled his duties for water and some other items that we have been having to fight! That along with tons of family stuff and jerky has taken a backseat for now.

So, getting back into it will most likely be delayed another 6-9 months, but we will see. I will be updating the message on my site, but I do plan on coming back eventually.

Hey all, been a while. Update is still where I was last. I am shooting for sometimes Summer of 2023 to get started back up again whether producing it myself or a copacker.

That being said, I enjoy trying other jerkys like everyone else and have been trying assorted jerky I have looked up. None seem to have my chip quality, but I have found some good stuff.

I'd like to recommend giving Tony's Jerky a try and he is a Texan
like myself. Order at www.tonysjerky.com or go to Tony's Jerky
Use code: MJBC2022 for 15% off that Tony was kind enough to provide for references!

We pride ourselves on quality consistent jerky and our made to order processes are top of the line!

07/30/2022 Update Please Read: All, I have decided to shut down for the next year as I have had a ton of life changes for the good! We purchased 12 acres of land, building a new house, and I started a new job.
All this being said, I want to work on getting a new place to cook and or build my own little facility. So, I will be back, but everyone will just have to wait for the crispy deliciousness!

07/25/2022 Update: I am currently on a production halt while I move. Things have gotten delayed unfortunately and I most likely won't get started back up till August. Thanks for understanding! Don't worry, I will be back!

Hey everyone, wanted to give another update on the state of things.
Unfortunately, the housing market slowed just as we listed our house so things are taking a bit longer than planned. So, timelines to get back up and running might get pushed back.
We have found land we really like though and hopefully that will go through.
Don't worry, I will be back and producing again and continuing to work on getting that USDA stamp to eventually be in stores!

06/05/2022

Hey all! Thanks for the purchases and new customers over the last few weeks. I am almost out of inventory. I won't be starting up again till July while we work on the sale/move of my house.

The housing market appears to have slowed down the last couple weeks. So, our dream of land is delayed a bit, but hopefully soon!

05/21/2022

Hey all, wanted to give a heads up that I ran my last batch for a month. With me getting ready to move I don't have the time to continue making batches so once I am out of inventory I will be pausing until sometime in July. I will be updating inventory with the last of the batches I ran this week in the next day or so.

Once out of inventory I will put an announcement on the page that I am on a break.

05/17/2022

Will have Hot Spicy larger quantities up in the next day or so!

05/13/2022

Hey everyone, wanted to give a quick update on the state of things beginning of this summer.
Number one is that my family and I are selling our house and buying land here in north Texas! We plan to build a barndominum (which I had never heard of, but they are really cool!) That being said I am going to be quite busy over the next few months getting that going. I am still pretty much in charge of the entire operation which means that I may have some periods where inventory is low until I can get to the kitchen to produce batches.
Number two is that very few copackers are accepting new clients. So, I have decided to try and build my own little USDA approved facility on the land I'm buying! Still doing research, but of course there is always lots of regulation with meat and meat production that you have to meet to get that stamp.

04/26/2022

Larger quantities like 1/2 lb listings should be up mid week!

04/22/2022

Hey all, I am aware of the 4oz typos on the nutrition facts and I have that resolved on the new graphics for when my next label run is in a couple months!

MJ’s Beef Jerky Chips

Beef Jerky that is crispy like a chip and not like any other jerky you have tried before. I was never satisfied with “store bought” beef jerky. So, I decided to create my own. It took time and effort, but I have come to a unique Jerky recipe and texture not sold in stores.
