A volunteer plant always feels a little like a gift.
I didnāt plant this one. Didnāt start it in a tray or make space for it in the garden plan. It just popped up and decided to thrive. In fact, itās doing better than most of the things we intentionally planted.
Gardening has a way of keeping your ego in check. The plants you fuss over sometimes struggle, and the random sunflower that nobody invited ends up being one of the prettiest things in the garden.
Funny how that works.
And Iām not saying thereās a life lesson in there, but Iām also not not saying it. š»š»š»
