☠️🌷Tulip time 🌷☠️

Ready for the winter, they’re snuggled under 6 inches of compost with a blanket of leaves to hold in moisture. The top net holds down the leaves and the squirrels don’t like it. It’s supposed to deter the cat as well but I find him napping on it just about every afternoon. 😽🤷🏻‍♀️

New obsession is wheel throwing pottery. It’s a steep learning curve for this human. After nearly a year I made a mug! She’s a nice companion when walking around this fall, planning the to-dos for the day. Today is tulip day. Photos to come.

I have been off instagram except checking from my desktop occasionally. It’s been so nice. Lots of reasons. It’s a time suck, I follow lots of political stuff and it feels scary right now so am trying to be more intentional with my consumption. If I am slow to respond, it’s not because you all aren’t important to me - I love our connection - just giving this space SPACE!
