We have an excellent week ahead!
We kick things off on Wednesday at 3pm and of course our run club meets at 6pm and Books & Brews holds their monthly meeting 6:30pm. We just read Elvira's auto biography and I really enjoyed it. Lot's to discuss! Casual Darts fly around 7pm.
Matt Guest hosts our Trivia night on Thursday so expect clever questions and interesting prizes.
I will keep saying this until I'm blue in the face - DO NOT miss Sarah Gross when she plays here. She's an excellent local musician who is now is finding her career in Nashville. She often plays much bigger venues than ours, but the joy here is that it's an intimate environment where you can really enjoy the music - And also a reasonably priced beer on a Friday night. She does a mix of originals and covers. Her originals are excellent so please ask her to play some.
On Saturday we hold Karaoke night at 7pm. Come on down and sing away! The cost of entry is buying something from our tasting bar. A bargain.
And finally on Sunday we celebrate Father's Day. Drop on by with your dad and buy a beer and your Dad's first pint is on us. We'll also have a crowler sale available for your Dad too if he wants to take something home.
PS - get your Dad a MFBC hat or gift card if you are looking for something to buy for him.

I just wanted to thank everyone who made our charity cooking contest special. It was an awesome day for a good cause.
First up - Our cooks! People take the time and effort to make meals so that this day can happen. We can't thank you enough as I know how hard it is to test recipes and come up with something that works. The Short Rib Grilled Cheese made with our stout won the savory category. Our chef in this case was a last minute contestant who made absolutely one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had. Thank you Bob & Sue! On the Sweet Side, it was Carol's Blueberry cupcakes that took the prizes. They were quite delicious and were made with our Blueberry ale. It's Carol's first year and she did an awesome job.
Second up our judges! - it's a rare year that both the popular vote and judges vote align, but 2026 is now that year. Thank you to the Trailerpark Gigolos who took on the challenge of tasting every dish which is a feat in itself. It's a lot of food.
No party is complete without music and Martin & Lucas always deliver a fun time and great music. They kept the afterparty going. Thank you for playing!
Third up, the staff - Crystal, Kaitlyn, Erin and Lexi handled the tasting room and Dean was instrumental in keeping the outside running. As always my wife Lauralee had a hand in everything too.
And finally - the community! It's a charity event and we can't do things of this magnitude without you. It seems everyone has every moment of everyday filled with stuff. We appreciate you taking the time to spend a few hours with us enjoying some great food, local beer and supporting our charity each year. Thank you so much!
Now on to a new week full of friends, food, music and craft beer at Moriches Field!

Yep - And I'll add don't pour foam off as it contains a lot of the aromatics. People can wait 30 seconds for the beer to settle and be topped off.

It's a spectacular day to enjoy a unique beer at Moriches Field. The tasting room is open 12-7pm and our beer list is full of unique beers all made right here. Just some of our beer currently on tap:

The day is here! Great weather, excellent food, music and ice cold beer await. Help us select this years winner as we support Helping Makes U Happy. Your $15 donation gets you a taste of each dish and we'll also donate $1 from each pint of Rayo De Sol we sell (charity beer for the day). An ice cold Mexican lager should pair well this fantastic event! The day is going to be a blast.

PS - Please note that we are 21 and up for food tastings as they may contain small amounts of alcohol. Each dish was crafted using some of our beer as the secret ingredient.

We'll have the sweet tones of Melanie Morin this Friday evening at the brewery. Drop on by and listen to some great music, enjoy some of our hot snacks (or order in) and try one of our many delicious craft beers. We also have local wine and a cocktail or two to enjoy as well. It's going to be a hot one out there! I'd recommend a Rayo De Sol Mexican Style lager to cool off.
