The most overwhelming season of all. And the most rewarding.

Behind in all other aspects of life and just finding it hard to balance anyone but my family right now. So I’m focused inward. Preparing us for fall + winter, when we can finally sit in front of the wood stove, enjoy our bounty and watch movies together without a care in the world.

Determined to teach my children what truly matters. Stewardship.

The girls made out with a couple (small) checks last week at the fair. I got a phone call this morning to come pick their stuff up.

Brenna got 1st for her bread, 2nd for her flower (art), and 3rd for her strawberry jam. No place for salsa or Pickles.
Melanie got 3rd for her salsa. No place for her pickles.
