Fresh cool water is one way to keep our alpacas a bit more comfortable in this heat. Who doesnt love a cold drink from the hose? It's always a push and shove match when the hose comes out. Slowly introducing the babies. Just a few quick sprays around their feet and they are already in love.

New Babies! We have 3 new Littles who have joined us in the last couple weeks. Bandit, boy, born to Saiga. He is a funny little guy. Pancake, boy, born to Francine. A very chill one.

And today we welcome a little girl, born to Roxy. About an hour before a storm and down pour. That was fun, carrying an umbrella in one hand and baby alpaca in the other to the barn.

Shearing day is complete! The girls are much happier with their new cuts. Alpacas are laid on the ground and their feet ...

Shearing day is complete! The girls are much happier with their new cuts. Alpacas are laid on the ground and their feet are tied. This is the safest for the animals and the shearing team. Peak that last photo for someone who throws a tantrum every year even though she knows she will feel better at the end.
