WE ARE SO EXCITED TO OFFER THIS!!!

🔵🎉Showmanship clinic open to all ages—whether you’re just getting started or just need a refresher for the new season. It doesn’t matter where your goat came from, everyone is welcome!

This is a free opportunity to learn valuable skills, tips, and techniques. At Ellinger Family Farm, we truly want to see you succeed.

Please RSVP to 740-823-0631 with your child’s name, how many years they’ve been showing, and their showmanship goals.

😃We’ll be covering feed tips, keeping your goat healthy, and hands-on instruction for fitting and clipping—plus so much more!

☑️📋Please bring your goat, a water bucket, and a halter you and your animal are comfortable using. Most importantly, come with a great attitude! Don’t forget to set some goals ahead of time and bring them with you.

🌟 Kim was the Reserve Grand Doe at the 2023 Kansas State Fair.

She’s a product of one of the deepest and most successful flushes to ever come out of Kempker Livestock, producing multiple high-level champions including a Grand Wether at the Kansas State Fair, Grand Doe at Aksarben, Grand Wether at the State Fair of Texas, and the promotional buck Italian Stallion.

She truly defines stout, moderate, and boxy.

They’re healthy, excellent mothers, and always have a strong milk supply. Honestly, we wish we could keep them because they’ve been so reliable, but we just don’t have the space.

They are all between 3–4 years old.

✨ Meet Jayden & Colston ✨

I’m usually the one posting on Facebook — yep, that’s me! 😄 I take care of goat duties during the week and hand things back to the owners on the weekends (who are seriously the best and always willing to help whenever I need it). You’ll often find me behind the camera, complaining when the pens need cleaned, and jumping in wherever I’m needed. Colston and I will be at the shows this summer, and I’ll also be teaching the clinics.

Colston is usually in the plumbing truck with Kyle, but on weekends he’s the one behind the clippers, prepping our goats for sales and following them to shows all season.

And don’t be surprised if our two corgis show up at the shows too! 🐶🐶

✨ Fun facts: I also work in the office at Ellinger Plumbing, and Colston is a plumber who works side-by-side with Kyle — no joke, they can’t go a day without talking! 😆

Kyle and Lindsey Ellinger are the proud owners of Ellinger Family Farm and have been raising goats for 6 years! They have two daughters, Emmy and Paizley, who are already excited to step into the show ring when they’re old enough. The Ellinger family will also be welcoming another future showman soon! 🎀🐐

🚿 Fun fact: Kyle and Lindsey don’t just run the farm — they’re also the owners of Ellinger Plumbing.

Happy Friday! I’m guessing every goat breeder is doing the same thing as us today and tonight—re-bedding goats and bracing for the cold. Meanwhile, we’re debating what earmuffs could survive these crazy ears with all this snow coming this weekend.
