As we all prepare for the big storm to arrive, it's hits differently for livestock owners. We aren't people who just work on a farm and leave after an 8 hour day, we LIVE on the farm 24/7. We go out to the barns every few hours busting ice and doing barn checks. We buy extra feed and use extra straw. We run heat lamps on the pens of babies and hope for the best and pray.. Stay safe our friends and good luck with what's coming our way!
