Two years ago, we first applied for our business license. I didn't know what I was doing (and still don't), but I've learned a lot! I expanded my product offerings because I wasn't sure I had enough to offer customers. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I abandoned what was at the heart of it all - my farm.
I found myself so busy, it was almost destructive. I chased dollars rather than purpose. I chased profit rather than passion.
That was a mistake.
At least it is a mistake I can correct and get back to the root of it all. Ogre's Rest will return to being, first and foremost, a "nerdstead".
We're nerds and we have a farm. Farming is a beautiful picture of discipleship. We plant, we water, and we tend - it is God who gives the growth. It's His design and it's an amazing thing to witness. It's what God has called us to be and above all - we want our endeavors to glorify our Creator.
