Just look at that beautiful white bar! 🤍😍

But here’s the fun part… will it stay this pretty and white as it cures, or will it take on a little darker, creamy color? Any scents with Vanilla in them will turn brown or a shade of it as it cures. Only time will tell! 👀

That’s part of the fun of making small-batch, handmade soap—we get to watch each batch transform as it cures. 🐐🥛🧼

And of course, this one is made with Millie’s milk, making it extra special as we launch our fall scents! 🍎🍂

Some things just make sense… and using Millie’s milk as we launch our fall scents is one of them!

Our girl is as sweet as they come, so it only seemed appropriate that her first batches of soap using her milk would become part of our cozy fall soap collection. 🤎🍂

First up: Coffee! ☕️✨

And these first batches are a little extra special—some bars were poured into our loaf mold and hand-cut, while others were made in our individual soap molds, giving them each their own unique look.

Sweet, fancy, and now officially part of the Bookworm Farm soap family. 🐐🥛🧼

6 PM Update: Two boxes of muffins are now in the refrigerator because ants found their way into the cooler. 🥴

🌞 Happy Sunday, farm friends! We are open again today with one small addition - there is a 1.25 pint bottle of goat's milk available in the farmstand fridge! 🐐 🥛

Plenty of banana muffins (5 per box) in the cooler and 1 banana cake with cream cheese icing available in the fridge also.

Several different scents of goat milk soap are out, along with the extra cleansing unscented coffee bar. More stock is available if something sells out, please send us a message if that happens and we don't catch it.

Due to the heat, no jams or jellies are out but we can set something out for pick up if you'd like. 😊

No jams or jellies out today due to the heat. Banana muffins are in the cooler, and banana cake is in the mini fridge. I could only fit one cake in there, but I do have another available if you’d like one! *Update - 2nd cake is out!*

We also have more eggs available and will restock as needed. There are currently 3 dozen out. 🥚

Running behind this morning, banana cake took a little longer to bake than planned. 🤦‍♀️ Muffins are finishing up now and we will get it all out to the stand soon - so sorry!

Farm fresh eggs, dish soap kits will be restocked 😁, goat milk soaps will be out...and something made from bananas because I snagged several pounds marked down at the store! 🤭 Thinking cake and muffins...maybe bread...we will see!

Gotta clean the tomato 🍅 mess up first - love this time of year and all the garden goodies. 😋 We will post in the morning once open with what's available!

🍂 Hello, August! 🍂

August brings a season of change here at Bookworm Farm.

📚 It's back-to-school time, which means the main farm lady is heading back to the classroom and our little farm assistant is getting ready for another school year too.

🐐 Here on the farm, we're preparing and getting excited as our fall kidding season kicks off at the end of the month! We can't wait to welcome new babies and share all the adorable updates with you.

With new babies on the horizon, that also means changes in herd arrangement. Our April doelings are finishing the weaning process in their own pen. Our buck has moved into his bachelor pen with our wether Hopper, and let's just say...there are a few unhappy campers around here right now. Between the babies missing their mama, the ladies missing their gentleman friend, Hopper missing his lady besties, and some very pregnant does trying to stay comfortable in this August heat, there has been plenty of complaining going on! All we have to do is step outside the front door and the "scolding" begins. 😂

As life gets busier with school routines and farm chores, we're looking forward to all the excitement this new season will bring. Thanks for following along on our journey—we're so glad you're here for every chapter! 🩵

Well, meet Chili everyone! 🐓 He is settling in after presumably being dumped on the back side of our property with two other rooster friends. We aren't sure where they've gone but are continuing to keep an eye out for them. As long as he stays chill, he can stay and help protect the flock. ❤️

We had some presumably dumped on our property. We have caught one but the other two are still roaming. They are not aggressive and appear to be young in age.
