My husband and I do all the planting, caring, and harvesting ourselves...with sporadic help from our son. Salt of the Earth Produce is a new business adventure for my husband and myself. A few years ago my husband, Clark, shared with me his love for growing healthy produce for our family. It's become a love of both of ours. We thought we'd try opening our garden to the surrounding area, and share

Throw back picture! Ha! I'm headed back to my job tomorrow!!! Remember, we've got this awesome special going through the end of this week. Fill a Walmart- sized bag for $5. Fill a 5 gallon bucket for $10.

I'll be honest, with school starting, I've not been great about posting... or even being in the garden. What do we have available? TOMATOES! We also likely have bell peppers and jalapeños. We MAY have a few cucumbers. This week is by appointment only. It will have to be in the evenings, or you can place your order, and I'll have it ready for you to pick up during the day.

We also have spaghetti, butternut, and acorn squash. Those are not included in the special. They are $2 each.

I'm back to school in a week, which means less time for the garden. I'm running a back to school special for the next two weeks!!

Fill a plastic bag (Walmart bag size) for $5. Fill a 5 gallon bucket. Pay $10. Squashes are excluded.

Ok. This is going to be a very transparent post. Lol! Our okra plants are the absolute best this year than we've ever had!. Here's the problem. I'm allergic to the plants so I have to really get myself motivated to go harvest. So... what happens??? I always end up with way overgrown okra that's woody and tough. Guys, I'm not even half way through and I've already gotten a 5 gallon bucket of unusable okra. 😞 my goal is to pay attention and just "buck up" and harvest before this happens for the rest of the season. We'll see if that actually happens. (I love pickled okra but can't get myself to pick it!)

Anywho, here's the purpose of this post. Do any of you have livestock that will eat these? None of mine will. My guess it that I'll have close to 15 gallons of this. If you can use it for your animals come get it! It's yours!

Tomatoes:
All same color.  Slicers (some may be split) 5 gallon $35
Mix yellow and red.  Scarred, split, and/or some bad spots. Fine for canning.  5 gallon $15

Green bell peppers: 10 for $2 or $0.50 each

Goliath peppers: 10 for $2 or $0.50 each

Pickling cucumbers.  Mix of large and medium sizes.  5 gallons. $10

Jalapeños (popper size). 5 for $1. 1 qt (approx 13 peppers) for $2. 1 gallon $3

Onions. $1 each or 10 for $5
