Update on Polly and her surviving buckling! After a scare of a retained placenta Polly is starting to feel like herself again. She was out grazing with the herd today and I can’t be more thankful for that. I have been extremely worried about her and fingers crossed she continues healing and feeling more like her self every day. Her buckling has improved so much as well and is getting to be a spoiled house goat with all the lovings. Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers 🩷🩷

Our sweet Polly went into labor yesterday at 142 gestation. I called my friend Katie for help as I knew something was not right she just wasn’t getting anywhere. First baby was deceased in utero and causing a traffic jam trying to come out because it was just balled up. Katie was able to pull the deceased kid out and 2nd baby Polly delivered on her own. He is doing good. 3rd baby we had to help Polly but unfortunately we couldn’t get him to breathe even after cpr. Please say a little prayer for Polly as she’s still in a lot of pain from the traumatic delivery and for her sweet surviving buckling. Thank you so much to my friend Katie Rogers I simply just don’t know if I could have done it with out you. Thank you to Kelly CG for some extra meds for her and baby I needed. My goat mama heart it so sad for Polly and her babies they didn’t make it. Hopefully I can get Polly to feeling better soon.
