We have been keeping a secret! We added Celtic Pride Feeling Taboo as a new herd sire! He has some amazing goats behind him and some spectacular udders!

His dam Celtic pride Black eyed Pea is amazing and placed 1st place 3 year old in the 2025 AGS national show! His full sister XO was 2025 4th place intermediate kid at ADGA nationals and was 2nd place best 3 jrs!

His sire is Celtic Pride Lions Mane! Lions manes dam is the spectacular CH Gabhran Creek January 11 or “Levin”!!! She was 2025 AGS national champion and Best udder and that’s not all her show wins LA: VEEE 91

Needless to say we are SUPER EXCITED to of had the chance to add him to our herd! I showed him last week at diamond in the rock as a 3 months old. He got two first place placements and 2 second place placements in the 4 rings and was named reserve jr champion in ring 4 ring! I am proud of what he is already doing!

We had a tragic loss today. Jackson Royal Alley Cat went into labor early this morning. She wasn’t progressing how I would have liked so I called in a more experienced friend to help. She went in and said it doesn’t feel “normal” in there. We attempted to pull kids but they weren’t budging. In a short 20 minutes we made the call to take her to the vet for a possible c section around 9am. The vet tried to pull the kids and said the same thing. During the c section the vet determined the 2 horns of the uterus had somehow adhered together which in turn made it impossible for the kids to pass thru the cervix. Unfortunately by the time the vet did the c section the kids had passed and in recovery Alley Cat went with them. This is a first of its kind on our farm and I know it won’t be the last but it definitely hurts. She will be missed so much. She loved Alll treats and head scratches and was the boss queen around here.
