Grill Sergeant's BBQ The Grill Sergeant's name came from my deployment back in 2007. My unit
started out in a platoon sized barracks when we first got in country.

Our
supply sergeant found a grill and put it out in front of our barracks. Later, when we all moved into two person trailers the unit decided the grill should go with me as I used it more than anyone else. Throughout the
deployment, I continued to prepare meals for some of the other soldiers in the unit every Sunday evening. Some of my friends got me an apron with my rank in the middle of it and t

he words "Grill Sergeant" around the rank for my birthday. The name seemed fitting so I decided to use it as a name for my BBQ operation.

I’m sorry to announce I will not be open this Monday. A good friend and previous 1SG passed and his funeral is Monday. I will let you know the next time I plan to open.
