Well the bummer pen is back in action this lambing season. Each of the moms to these 2 decided to reject them for no reason, so those girls won't be staying around here.

Scarlett is so excited to have bummers again. We told her if she helps take care of them, then they are hers. She'll have 1 boy to sell and 1 girl to add to her string of breeding ewes.

This little guy had a very eventful morning. Had it not been for our guard Walker I would have never found him. He was outside the fence about 40 feet from mom stuck in a tiny gap.
Its a mystery how he got there but a blessing he was found. It took a little convincing of mom that he is her's but now she is aggressively protective of him. Oh sheep are so much fun! 😆

Well a week into our lambing window and it's been a busy 12 hours. Had a set twins, one of each, and a nice big single boy this morning out of a first time mom. Its been an adventure and now waiting on the rest since the flood gates have been opened.

Productive morning. We got the rams turned out with the ewes and got our locker lambs headed to the butcher.
🐑 We have 2 new rams this year as part of our breeding string and we are excited to see how they cross on our girls.
