I currently have 15 duck eggs in my incubator — some are due to hatch this week, and the rest next week. 🐣

Meanwhile, one of my ducks decided to take matters into her own hands and started incubating 12+ more eggs before I even caught the nest 😅

Big news from the farm! 🐓

Yesterday I added two beautiful roosters to my flock—an English Mottled Orpington and a Black Jersey Giant.

Right now, they’ll be bred with my Easter Eggers, Ameraucanas, Orpingtons, Whiting True Blues, and my Barred Rock hen. This means a fun mix of chicks and a variety of egg colors—light to medium browns, plus different shades of blue and green. My future goal is to offer purebred English Orpingtons in multiple colors, along with Jersey Giants in both black and white.

Once my ducklings hatch at the end of May, I’ll be starting my chick hatching plans! I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings. 🥚✨
