Some people were created to start early, drive hard, and care fiercely. Weyr Are We Acres is fortunate to have one of those people.

The new deep bed is finally done, hopefully in this protected space, the Oklahoma full-sun will transform into a kinder full-sun.
Don't mind the mud, on the front corner block, it seems Posie was looking for a butt scratch and that block was offering just what she needed.

"Are You, lookin' at Me?" "Again?"
Storm, is actually, a very sweet lady, and one of our original 4 chickens. She has slowed down a little but still keeps the young girls in line, and shows off, with her pretty green eggs, once or twice a week.

The aerators stay on 24/7 with hope that the fish will survive in the crazily low pond. We did open one end, to the Bigs, (their pond dried up completely), the Littles always had access to this one and take a dip a couple of times daily. It's funny that whenever the littles enter, the ducks exit.🤣
62 days without rain and 54 days of 100°+ Temps. I've never been one to rush time, but we need a break-come on Fall! ♥️

Well, it's getting close to being that time. You can't keep them all! Are we sure? Sibling love.

Good morning handsome! You caught me off guard again. I'm still looking to capture the iconic shot, that you've teased me with...when I don't have a camera at the ready. 🫣

Ryder has been here long enough, that the goats run to the paddock whenever they see a glint of ginger in the sun.

Roz is 1, of our 2 rescue pigs, not our usual Kune kids-but we do try to help, when we have space. Roz has a gentle soul, a timid nature, and arthritis. So, we decided to make her time in the house yard more permanent. Pig daddy found an inexpensive metal storage bldg kit; built, reinforced, leveled, insulated, secured, ran electric, installed fans, a thick stall mat, brought her orthopedic bed up, and even installed a coat hook for her favorite blankie...only to have her take a quick glance, and lay down in the mud by the down spout...Pigs. Though 🤔 she could be waiting for wallboard install and paint. 🫣 You'll be waiting a long time, girlfriend. 🤣
