Hellooo & here are Saturday, August 29th's happenings:
I don't know if I can say it's bitter-sweet to say "good-bye" to August. I think it's mostly sweet!
SWEET CORN, STRAWBERRIES, THE BEST CANTALOUPE & WATERMELON in YEARS, and even our tomatoes are unusually sweet...
If you come to Providence Farm today, we ordered A LOT of Gilda's French Pastries. Take extra for Sunday brunch or even to freeze for future treats!
I love feeling light after a dinner, instead of overly stuffed and heavy.
It's easy to do with all these fresh summer-time veggies.
I am including this week's "CSA Farm Box" recipes in the photos if you'd like some inspiration.
Speaking of our CSA. YES, we have room for more families to join. You can have hyper-fresh, safe, certified-organic fruits and veggies grown by local farmers you know. Head to ProvidenceOrganicFarm.com to learn more and sign-up.
If a CSA isn't right at this time... Our abundant harvest is found at our on-farm market (open 8-6, every day but Sunday) and at the Boyne & Traverse City Farm markets, 8-noon on Saturday.
August 29th's Saturday Mexican Pop-Up (at our farm) features two favorites: new one: Chicken Fajita Tacos, and Beef Quesabirria!
While you're here, you can sip on a latte, AND pretty up your home w/ flowers from our u-pick flower garden, or grab a bouquet! It's literal "seed" money for next year's flower garden. :)
We open at 8:00 AM for Breakfast & Burritos! All the rest is served starting at 10:00 AM. (Live music with Steve Brown at 11:30 - 1:30 ish)
There’s an abundant amount of fresh fruits, veggies and much more LOCAL farm-foods at our market!
Thanks for all your support, and have a great last weekend in August!
