Named after the first son of owners David Traul and Lena Varner, the desire to make wine grew out of a combination of passion for food and wine, and a longing to create something beautiful and refined from the soil of the Rogue Valley. Discovering the location that would become the Varner-Traul Vineyard in Talent, Oregon was final piece to create the wines we are proud to offer you.

Ledger David has joined John M. Snow of Oblivion West in donating $2500 to Dogs for Better Lives in loving memory of Teddy James Maverick Varner who passed on January 1, 2020.

Our tasting room will be closed Friday, October 1st - Tuesday, October 5th for Harvest. We will resume our regular hours on Wednesday, October 6th at 12pm. We will remain closed on Sunday & Monday.

In honor of the recent passing of Ledger David Family Member, Taylor Hamlin, our tasting room will be closed on Saturday, August 21st. A celebration of life for Taylor will be held that day from 2-4pm at Edenvale Winery. All are welcome to come celebrate Taylor.

We will be open again on Tuesday, August 24th at noon. Thank you for your understanding & support.

As a result of the devastating fires this week and the current air quality forecast, we have decided to close the tasting room through Monday, September 14th. Thank you for your understanding as our staff & their families are still affected by fire with one member losing her home. We look forward to serving you again on Tuesday, September 15th!
