All good things must come to an end. Unfortunately that time has come for Beebe's Farmstand. The age of our orchard combined with late frosts and bad weather during pollination led to projected yields that are really low. Taking this as well as rising costs for labor and fuel into account have led me to close the farmstand.
I'd like to thank all those who supported us over the past 4 years, it really has meant a lot, and we were able to get a whole lot more peaches, fruit and veggies out into the community because of it.
Thank you to all my CSA members for the faith you put into me and the farm, I wish more than anything I could have fulfilled this years boxes. Refunds are coming this week.
I'd also like to say a huge thank you to all the members of the Picollo family. You allowing me to lease the farm has been a blessing. I wish you all the best.
If anyone would like to be on a mailing list for a future farm endeavor by me (Octavio) you can send me an email at [email protected], although it will for sure be a season or two until that gets underway. I need a break. :)
Thank you all once again for the incredible support, and keep supporting local! There are still lots of great small farms out there that need you!
Sincerely,
Octavio Poscidonio
