Its nice weather for Barn Hunting!

We have some group (shared) lessons available tomorrow (5/31) with Karen Cummings.

These are great for dogs that are fairly proficient in Barn Hunt and just need a little schooling/practice.

A few weeks ago our Central Bark family members Jill and Tim lost their young border terrier Eden suddenly and tragically.

Jill is one of our incredibly enthusiastic and talented Trial Secretaries/Chairpeople. Tim helps us at Grace Farm with Christmas trees.

They both have done so much for this club and the people that attend- we wanted to show how much Eden meant to us all.

Quietly and quickly we pulled together an Eden memorial at our May BH trial and presented it on Sunday.

Eden’s registered name contained “Forbidden Golden Apple”, so it seemed fitting to get a golden apple tree and a metal garden sign for the “Garden of Eden”.

Jill gave her blessing that I could share her post. We wanted those that donated to see the gifts from the Barn Hunt family and how the garden sign turned out.

Additionally we have a custom rosette being fashioned in honor of Eden for future trials.

Others in Jill’s dog family gifted other wonderful gifts as well but I won’t steal their thunder.

Dog sports bring us together as a family and when we lose a member, we all feel it!

Even if you weren’t entered, the pics are an extraordinary photo journal of each dog during their run. The styles of each of the dogs… and the diversity is pretty neat 🙂

Welp, I had great plans and made a valiant effort to send out the final confirmation and blind order for our May Barn Hunt (8-10 trial) tonight….

BUT then there were moveups and changes from THIS weekends local trials!
THIS IS A GOOD THING! (But why the email hasn’t come yet 🥴)

I’d like to get all those processed before I send out the final confirmations and blinds.

Congrats to those that titled!

Look for the confirm tomorrow evening… planning on final email launch after my 1pm class.
