We had an amazing dinner last night. Our first batch of rabbit from the colony, a veggie stew, some home made bread rolls, and an amazing mead from Truly a feast fit for Vikings!!!

We had a very eventful end of 2025 and beginning of 2026.
-We had major floods and high winds that decimated a few of our rabbit hutches. Also leading to a few escape artists, but fortunately we were able to get all bunnies back to safety!
-we’ve lost 2 of the baby buns to hypothermia or possible illness.
-We built a colony in place of the hutches and are now up to 10 adult rabbits and 2 healthy babies!!

-I made some custom hay holders out of dollar store containers for the bunnies.

-these chickens usually do not like using the chicken door but for some reason today when I just didn’t open it they were REALLY interested in trying to use it.
