Looking for the freshest, local and organic food at the Grange Fair? Effie’s Kitchen has it!

Today is the last day to sample our Mediterranean délectables: Greek Village Salad, Spanakopita, Spinach Feta Orzo Salad, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Greek Baklava, Confetti 3-Bean Salad, Heirloom Caprese Salad, Mediterranean Charcuterie, Tiropita, Greek Iced Coffee Frappe, and Tait Farm Shrub Iced Tea. We would love to serve you!

Oh, and you might even get to see our littlest Greek-American family members and take a selfie with Dolly!

Hello Effie’s Fans!
We may be looking for a few more local folks to help out at our Grange Fair concession from August 20 through August 30. If you or someone you know might be interested, please send a PM for details. Must be friendly and reliable. Duties include customer service, cooking and baking, cleaning and washing dishes.

Muffin the Farm Cat was ready to come along to the Centre County Grange Fair, but sadly we had to leave him at home. It’s your last day to sample Effie’s Kitchen homemade Greek specialties. Come and get some spanakopita, pastitsio, Greek salad, stuffed grape leaves, Mediterranean snack box, heirloom Caprese salad, confetti 3-bean salad, and our fair-famous spinach feta orzo salad! Made with freshly harvested produce from our farm.

Effie’s Kitchen is open for business at the Centre County Grange Fair! Come get your Greek goodies. I’ll post the menu later today. Fave features are Spanakopita, Spinach Feta Orzo Salad, Greek Village Salad, Mediterranean Snack Box, and of course Baklava!
