It's that time again... Happy Pride! This weekend, stop by the Corner Market and use the magic word "pride" to get a free mini cone- vanilla with rainbow sprinkles!

Yes, free ice cream! Even for straight people! (Q***r peeps, you can snag a free "pride cone" through the end of June, while supplies last. Allies, accomplices, q***r-passing, and q***r-adjacent folks, we probably won't card you or otherwise require proof as long as you use the magic word.)

Corporate "rainbow washing" is problematic, but we fly our rainbow flags all year long, and we have for decades. We're here, and some of us are q***r! We proudly celebrate our LGBTQIA+ Cox Farmers, and we continue to support organizations doing important work to protect q***r and trans people.

Remember, the first Pride was a riot let by Black and Brown trans and gender-nonconforming people fighting back against police brutality. We honor their legacy by celebrating progress and continuing to work to dismantle systems of oppression.

If you've been meaning to dress up your deck or plant some basil, you're in luck; geranium and petunia hanging baskets are BOGO starting today, and all small pots of veggie and herb plants are on clearance for just $0.99 each. The sale will last all weekend, but quantities are limited, so come early for the best selection. The Corner Market is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Join the team behind the team! Next month, we'll start hiring for the best Fall Festival and Fields of Fear ever. Right now, we're searching for one more person to join our Department of People (like HR, but way cooler and not as scary). This is a full-time, year-round admin position focused on our seasonal hiring and onboarding, so it will involve a lot of boring computer tasks, but there will be plenty of time for touching grass during the late summer and fall as we support our team of 800+ Cox Farmers this fall. This role will involve more spreadsheets than tractors, but you can trust that the DOP knows to always take the hard way.
