2nd year for the Polination patchs and they are coming together. We had a nice bloom of crimson clover early but now the Black Eye Susan's, Plains Corposis, Lance Leaf Coroposis and Lemon Bee Balm are coming in. Have several different types of clovers as well. Still have some grass and Oat terminations to do but all in good time. Its nice to see the bees and butterflies all over this area.

Pretty cool video here. How long is a honey bees tounge (proboscis) you ask? Well its about .25". These girls were hungry since I was not able to hive them today. You can hear the virgins piping as well. I've never seen them eat so much.

This might be my favorite part of beekeeping. Feeding new queens just as they exit the cell is hard to beat. We had a total of 7 this morning. 3 more in the incubator to go.

Our self service honey stand is finally up and running and stocked with the last of our 2025 fall honey. You will be able to see the stand next to our shop. If paying by cash or check, please place it in the box on the side. If paying by Venmo, simply scan the code on the inside of the stand. We are starting a list of everyone needing honey so feel free to reach out as we hope to pull spring honey in a couple of weeks. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this a success for us. We greatly appreciate it.

Such a cool picture today from a hive. They were all working but looking straight up, nicely tucked in rows. Look at those thick frames of honey. Amazing.

The bees are a little behind on the spring honey through no fault of theirs. This dry weather is really hurting the nectar flows. Hopefully it picks up soon. We need the honey.

What a swarm this was. Filled a deep box completely.
