A conversation Between a newcomer and another member of the grass community just below the manure pad-----
Hey, my name is Fred, with whom do I have the pleasure of living next door to?
Hi Fred; I'm George. Just moved, huh?
Yes, really excited to be here; heard the food was the best on the whole farm.
You heard it right. All those pastures out there, and right here it's gourmet every day. Although, you might have checked with one of the locals before moving.
What do you mean?
Well, there's a down side to this neighborhood. I mean don't get me wrong, we can grow faster, taller, healthier than anywhere else here. It's just that once a year Steve the farmer has to grab a lot of that manure over there for his garlic rows.
So?
When he does that it's with a tractor---- back and forth, over and over. I mean we get really squashed down, mangled. Some guys get killed!
Your kidding; how come there wasn't a danger sign on the wall over there?
Well, obviously everyone who lives here is stuck in the dirt. How are we gonna post a sign.
You shouldn't be telling everyone how good the food is if it's so dangerous. Hasn't anyone contacted the PPL?
There is no Plant Protective League, that's just fake news information. You have to be an animal to get a group of humans to give a damn about your beingness; or at least an endangered tree.
Well, I am here now. Just have to take my chances and hope I make it. Listen I have to talk to my wife about this. Thanks for the info. Be seeing you.
You have a great day, I hear the sun will be out later. Bye.
