Happy almost back to school everyone!

A lot of kids are excited and parents too. (😁), but there are some of the kids who may not be super excited. We have a treat that just might bring a smile to every student’s face …“Back to School” cookies right here at Tabora!

We are closed today Monday, August 10 to celebrate our wonderful employees!

A huge shout out to all of our employees who work so hard each and every day!! Today, we were going to celebrate you!

We’ve devised a game of “Tabora Amazing Race” so quite possibly you’ll see our whole staff decked out in special T-shirts going around town doing different tasks. We will declare a winner at the end of the day at our staff bbq. It sure to be a lot of fun for everyone.

Peaches are finally back!!
After a lonnggg break between varieties we finally are getting peaches again. Stop in for fresh produce including peaches, watermelon, tomatoes, corn, green beans and more.
Apples and pears are right around the corner and we will start seeing them in a couple of weeks. Pick your own apples and pears will start the first weekend in September!

(Please note Monday, August 10 we are closed for our employee appreciation event!).

Happy Saturday!
Today and tomorrow are our Peach festival days and it is gorgeous out!!

Our festival runs from 10 to 5!
We will have a two dollar per pound sale of the juicy and sweet South Carolina peaches and also many delicious peach baked goods!

Outside of the farm, we will have yard games, a barbecue setup, wagon rides and a great area to enjoy live music by the talented Dave Cunningham!

It should be a fun day! We hope you can come enjoy it with us!

Remember our old-fashioned fruit festivals where you just came and enjoyed relaxing on the farm, purchased delicious fruit, and other treats, played yard games, and just hung out with family and friends while listening to some great live music? Well, we’re having that again this weekend!

Peach Festival
July 25 and July 26 10-4 pm at Tabora 1104 Upper Stump Road, Chalfont.

No entrance fee. Plan for a great time.
We’ll have an outdoor barbecue for purchase, wagon rides around Tabora, and other fun!

Do you have a talent decorating cakes?

Are you interested in working with a really dynamic team in a fun workplace?

The latest on our blueberry picking is, at this point, the crop is very light. You are welcome to come and do your best with your picking. There were customers out this morning saying there are a lot of blueberries, but we also have hungry observant birds.

Birds have nothing else to nibble on as we lost our cherry and peach crops so they are watching our crop carefully to see what blueberries are ready for them too! (We don’t spray our blueberry bushes for bird defense. As you’ll see, we have a lot of flickering decorations and large eyes out in the patch that usually scare birds away, but not the most effective when they’re hungry. ☹️)

Please come in the market and get your container for picking. It is four dollars a pint.

We wish we had more blueberries for everyone. It’s been a tough season for fruit farmers.

*** As far as other produce goes, we have tomatoes, cantaloupe, cabbage, peaches, sweet onions, and zucchini!***

So yesterday morning, we had an incredible response to our blueberry picking sale so we do not have any more blueberries left in the field to pick, but we should have more ripe again by the weekend. We will post again when they’re ready for picking.

Thank you so much to all of you who came out for the picking yesterday.
It’s been a crazy season with our fruit as we lost all our cherries and peaches so we are going to celebrate anything we do have to pick.
