One of the biggest upgrades happing is a barn!!! It's gonna be super nice when it's all finished! There will be a tack room, milk room, storage and multiple stalls. Plus a bunch of hay right in the middle!!!
Hopefully February sees a roof on it and the start of stalls!!

Wow I've gotten behind on posting!! I'm really gonna try and be better about it!!
Kids are hitting the ground and that means babies are coming available. I'm also getting the website updated on whose in milk and whose available for a new herd!!
Some big plans and changes coming to our little farm this year!!

What an awesome and fun weekend! The girls did amazing, accumulating more first and second places then I think I've ever gotten at a single show. I still need to sit down and count them up!!
I had another first: the girls went best nubian dairy herd 2x against some great herds and Fancy was best nubian udder in ring 3. The boys managed to snag some reserves as well.
Not bad for a very young but promising show string!!!
It's a great feeling knowing I've made a lot of right choices both in breeding and management to get to this point!
Hanging with friends and family made the weekend that much better. Thank you so much to Engylskye Dairy Goats (Veronica and bailey) as well as Nevada stars ( Mary Armstrong ) for not only all the help showing, but being awesome friends that kept us all laughing through the craziness of showing!!!

To all my crazy goat friends!!!
I'm trying to reduce my nubian numbers to a bit more manageable amount right now. I have a lot on my plate and too many things needing my attention!
I still have some nice milkers, lots of doelings and some bucks available. All registered or registerable.
I have a website up, running and mostly complete!!
For those that need a reminder, our new place is in salmon Idaho. Transport may be an option depending on where and when!

January kidding finished up yesterday putting me at half way done!
Im working on catching up on some much needed sleep and will be assessing who is being retained and who is available. Then will get pictures and prices posted! There will be several very nice doelings available for sure!!
I'll try to get on it quickly, but I also have a pesky full time job and farm that needs my attention as well!

2 red girls are out of 9 yr old "Honeyville haven ren" and yearling buck "woest-hoeve peppercorn"

Black roan doe and buck are out of 2 yr old " scenic farms beautiful legacy" and 3 yr old CH buck " dkgh si worth the risk"

Went up to Hamilton Montana for one of my favorite shows put on by the Bitterroot Dairy Goat Association this last weekend. Not only did I have a great time with friends but it was also a very successful show for my little herd!!
5 grand champions, 2 reserves, 3 best of breeds, 2 best Nubian udders, a best Jr doe in show and best Sr doe in show!!!
Finished both a doe and buck, so they are now permanent champions!
Unfortunately didn't get many pictures, it's was a crazy day 🥴 and have been busy getting things moved to the new place. ** I'll be doing some posts soon of our new place in salmon that we are currently moving to!!

Most were top of their age classes and the jr's managed to get 2 reserves and a champion!!
Mostly younger stock in the show string this year- super excited to see these girls continue to mature and come into themselves!!
