Feeding hay....... I just wanted to go pick up the net wrap. She's going to be at the family BBQ, cause she's definitely going into the feedlot. Yes bison are raised for meat.

Dental floss....... Not just for teeth! This baby paint dromedary camel's umbilical cord was dripping a little, so I used dental floss to tie it off.

The baby Bactrian is finally drinking off his mother. Even though she likes him ..... She wasn't sure about letting him nurse at first and he wasn't persistent to try. So for the first few days....... I was bottle feeding him every few hours around the clock.

Bactrain camels (2 humps) are hard to milk too. Their tears are very small compared to dromedaries (one hump)

Plus with the below freezing temps at night I was doing baby checks frequently. So I really haven't slept much in the last month.

Have a few other baby camels on the ground and waiting on several more.
