Happy National Famers Market Week Springfield friends!

Today we are set up at the Old Capitol Farmers Market in Downtown Springfield outside till 12:30pm then inside our store we are open till 2pm! Today we are hosting Robb inside for sourdough samplings from and gelato samplings from Goat & Pail.

New August Croughnut flavors are here!
Apple Cider
Our original flaky croughnut dipped in a sweet apple cider glaze made with Curtis Orchard apple cider. Fresh, flavorful, and packed with local goodness, this one is sure to become a favorite.
Brown Sugar Peach
Our classic croughnut dipped in Bakehouse-made peach icing and finished with a sprinkle of brown sugar. Sweet, juicy peach flavor meets rich caramel-like sweetness for a truly irresistible treat.
Made fresh each week with the buttery, flaky layers you've come to expect from a CIB croughnut, these flavors are only available for a limited time.

Tomorrow morning, Robb from Central Illinois Bakehouse will be at our Springfield Food Hub sampling cheese and talking bread. Come say hi, taste what we're working with, and grab a loaf before they're gone.

On the sample table: our Yukon Gold Garlic Sourdough, freshly baked sourdough bagels, and fresh chèvre from Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery — made right at the creamery in Champaign from milk from their herd of pasture-raised dairy goats.

Saturday 9am, 308 E Adams St, Downtown Springfield. We're open 8am-2pm.

Fat Tuesday wouldn't be complete without paczkis, and Central Illinois Bakehouse is bringing their A-game.
🍩 Bavarian Cream Paczki – Brioche-based, fried to golden perfection, filled with rich Bavarian cream, and dusted with powdered sugar
🍩 Raspberry Paczki – Same light, pillowy brioche, filled with tart raspberry jam and topped with a sweet glaze
Available as singles or in 4-packs. Plus, King Cake is back for Mardi Gras season.

Our Caprae team returned from winter break this past week ready to welcome guests back to the table. Mother Nature had other plans for the weekend, but we'll resume regular hours Tuesday, January 27th with Taco Night.
