Each ornament I make takes months. Why, you may ask? Because we grow, harvest and forage the flowers used for our creations. So the Globe Gomphrena you see in here was planted by me, weeded by me, harvested by me and processed by me. And I loved all of it except weeding, I hate weeding. Once the flowers are good and dry, I get to create! And I hope what I create is something worth while ❤️

I have been able to find a way to use every bit of the flowers we grow. This bauble holds the dahlia petals that came off all the dried dahlias we pulled out of silica. It also has eucalyptus leave we had to strip from bottoms of stems for wedding bouquets. All the beautiful bits and bobs that fall off, are pulled off or edited, find their purpose in these quaint, humble, Christmas baubles.

This is another set I was very tempted to keep for my own tree. Luckily for someone, it will be available this Saturday ...
