Passing the torch and prepping the herd!

We’ve officially started programming our does for our upcoming December kid crop here at AMG. But the best part of yesterday ? Watching Kailah pass on the knowledge she’s been gaining through her FFA internship with us.We absolutely love her humbleness and her genuine willingness to share what she's learning with others. She represents the AMG family so well!A massive shoutout and "great job" to both Kailah and Grace—thank you both so much for all of your hard work and help yesterday !

Well, Kailah is away at camp, but the farm work doesn't stop! Her protégé completely stepped it up today. She was a little terrified at first, but she jumped right in and we got some disbudding done. So proud of her for tackling it head-on!

We had a great, high-energy morning knocking out some final preparations for our fall fair kids. The herd is looking fantastic, and the energy around the barn is unmatched! We are especially excited to use Lex on this group. His summer kids are turning out to be just as impressive as he is, and we can’t wait to see what this next generation looks like!!

Today we’re celebrating all the amazing mamas who do it all — from gentle nudges to watchful eyes and endless patience. Watching this sweet doe care for her little ones is a reminder of just how strong, nurturing, and devoted mothers truly are.
