🎸 LAKE DRIVE SESSIONS — featuring TIM GOODWIN!

Join us Friday, October 9th at 6:00pm as Tim Goodwin takes the stage at Lake Drive Tap for an evening of original folk and Americana that'll stay with you long after last call. 🍺🎵

Tim is a singer-songwriter from Northfield, MN whose warm baritone voice traces love, loss, and stories from all walks of life. Rooted in the folk and Americana tradition and inspired by John Prine, Steve Earle, and John Gorka — his songs communicate the truths he sees in the world, whether those truths are easy or difficult.

With multiple albums to his name — including a 2020 co-write with acclaimed singer-songwriter Eliza Gilkyson and his 2024 release A Set of Stories — Tim is a constantly evolving artist who brings something genuine and deeply human to every performance. His newest work, This Town, is a musical novella telling the story of two people falling in love in a small American town through spoken word and song. 🎵

This is the kind of Friday night that reminds you why live original music matters. Come in, grab a cold craft b**r, and let Tim tell you a story. 🍺

🎷 LAKE DRIVE SESSIONS — Special Oktoberfest Edition!

This Saturday, October 3rd from 2–5pm, Lake Drive Tap is thrilled to welcome the St. Peter Street Stompers Jazz Band to our stage for a very special Lake Drive Sessions Oktoberfest performance! 🍺🇩🇪

The St. Peter Street Stompers are a Minneapolis-based traditional New Orleans jazz band formed in 2007 — rooted in the classic jazz stylings of the original Preservation Hall performers and legends like Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, and Kid Ory. Their sound is built on fun ensemble passages, spontaneous improvisation, sweet melody, and driving rhythm. In other words — exactly what Oktoberfest calls for. 🎺🎷

New Orleans soul meets German tradition. Cold craft b**r. Brats on site. And a jazz band that's guaranteed to get the whole room moving. This is not your average Saturday afternoon. 🍺

Come raise a stein and let the Stompers stomp. 🎶

🎸 FRIDAY MUSIC LIVE — featuring SCOTT JASMIN!

Join us Friday, October 2nd at 7:00pm as Scott Jasmin makes his way down from Park Rapids to take the stage at Lake Drive Tap!

Scott describes his music as honest, soulful Americana — a unique blend of rock, country, jazz, folk, and pop, dividing his playlist between covering radio hits of the 1970s and performing original music he calls Small Town Songs. Think James Taylor, Carole King, the Eagles, Jackson Browne, and Fleetwood Mac alongside originals that celebrate the everyday moments of Midwestern life. 🎵

Playing about 120 gigs a year — mostly solo with guitar, harmonica, and kick drum — Scott brings an effortless warmth and authenticity to every room he plays. His Small Town Songs pay tribute to the honest, hard-working, family-centered people in small towns all across the Midwest.

The kind of Friday night that feels like home. Come pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and let Scott set the tone. 🍺

🍹 Big news for our non-b**r-drinking friends — and trust us, this one is worth getting excited about!

One of the things we love most about The Savage Tap and Lake Drive Tap is that we've always been a place for everyone — not just the craft b**r crowd. And we're about to make that even better.

We've partnered with Even to bring an amazing new line of mocktails to both locations (Mojito, Paloma, and a Mule). And Dave's words? "Really, really good." 🙌

Whether you're the designated driver, taking a break from the booze, or just prefer something delicious without the alcohol — there's now something seriously special waiting for you at the bar. No boring sodas. No sad substitutions. Real craft mocktails worth ordering.

Coming soon to The Savage Tap and Lake Drive Tap. Stay tuned! 🍹

(It's pronounced Hi-Nah-SHEV-Its. Say it three times fast. Then come see him Friday. 😄)

Join us Friday, September 25th at 7:00pm as Ted Hajnasiewicz takes the stage at Lake Drive Tap!

A Minneapolis-born singer-songwriter driven by a lifelong pursuit of the perfect song, Ted performs with a magnetizing honesty and reflective tone that speaks to the very essence of the human spirit. His music spans Americana, country, rock, and singer-songwriter — always rooted in real emotion and real craft. 🎵
