Well I should have known my sales were going to drop off this time of the year as the markets open and people travel. I am still hoping I do well at the Plainfield Farmers Market on Sundays from 11-3pm but if you are busy and would rather have nutritious super foods brought right to your front door instead of hitting the market, you're in luck! I offer free local delivery to anyone in Minooka and Channahon. Any order greater than $20 within 10 miles of the farm will qualify for free delivery on Thursday evenings between 4-6pm. My sincere apologies for anyone not living in this small community of "Channooka" which is not eligible for free delivery but between the Plainfield market and some local pickup locations, still feel free to reach out and we can try and get creative!

Microgreens are $7 per 2oz clamshell with the exception of Cantaloupe which is $10 per 2oz container.

Invoices go out electronically the day of delivery so all you have to do is fill out the form on the website of which varieties and amounts you would like along with some key information which will allow me to create the invoices.

This weekend! Come on out to the Plainfield Farmers Market to grab fresh packs of locally produced Microgreens from Microgreen Kitchen.. Lots of other great vendors make a great weekly market for you and your family to stop by every Sunday from 11-3pm located at the Plainfield Public Library. I will be cutting live every single pack I sell which makes that the freshest veggies at the market physically possible!

Unfortunately MicroGreen Kitchen will not be supplying, growing, or selling edible flowers anymore. Aphids found their way into my edible flower grow tent and have taken over. Thousands of dollars of soil, seed, equipment, and most of all time, are all destined for the compost pile. God this one stings. I will not be messing around with them again until I have full hydroponic setups. Not something I can afford anytime soon so they are being scrapped. Wow, what a waste. Thank you all for your support, Microgreens only for the summer and fall. Facepalm.

It is almost time! Almost time for the weekly Sunday Plainfield Farmers Market!

Not sure which market to go to during this busy market season? Make it out to Plainfield public library every Sunday starting June 7th!

I will be cutting fresh Microgreens right from the tray into a container. Does not get any more fresh than that!

I am also planning on bringing packs of edible flowers for chefs and dessert artists. I will bring what I can and hope to have a few packs each week for sale in the cooler, just ask if you do not see them.

There are dozens of other great vendors out there including regular farm produce and artisan products.

You have to try one of these Acai bowls while shopping the market, life changing! lol

I am bringing 15 trays and hope to sell out, if so, I will keep upping the number and I can learn in real time what to bring more of or less as the market goes on.

I have depleted most of my savings to get to this point so your support shopping with Microgreen Kitchen is truly appreciated! Very grateful for your support and trust!

Edible Flowers! 3 packs available! Comment or text me if you can meet locally and want to grab a pack or two! I have two packs of larger marigold flower heads and one pack of mostly viola/pansy varieties with some smaller marigolds. The marigold packs have at least 40 flower heads and the mixed pansy/viola/marigold pack has at least 50 heads. If you can meet today, I will throw in last week's pack that I never sold. I still have a pack from 2 weeks ago in the fridge and it still looks great! These last longer than I anticipated!

Get these while they last, as I will only be selling them when available at the Plainfield Farmers Market moving forward.

I have edible flowers available for anyone local. I do not have customers come to the farm for pickup, rather we would meet locally in Channahon or Minooka. Freshly cut packs are $25.
Packs include 50 flower heads from marigolds, pansy, and violas. The marigolds are a little larger but still small enough to use for plating, drinks, cake decorating, ice cubes, etc.

If you would like to schedule a day and time to meet locally, please reach out or drop a comment below. Limited availability.

Packs should last at least a week in the refrigerator kept in their container with the damp paper towel.

The next delivery cycle is scheduled for May 24th which is Memorial Day weekend. I am planning on doing all regular scheduled deliveries but inquiring if anyone is going to be out of town or unable to accept their order in two weeks due to the holiday. Please let me know asap if you will be needing to pause your recurring order.

After that, delivery day will be switching back to Thursdays. I will extend the next cycle after the 24th to June 11th. Every two weeks starting on the 11th.

You also now can pick up fresh packs every Sunday starting June 7th at the Plainfield Farmers Market.

Next delivery: Sunday May 24th 4-6pm
After that:
Local deliveries: Thursday evenings 4-6pm
Local market: Sunday 11am-3pm. Plainfield
