You’ll find everything you need for your delicious pre-dessert meal at Briar Chapel Farmers Market. Locally grown, raised, made meal building foods from local vendors.

And yes, you’d find some desserts there too!

Rocky River H**p will be at the Briar Creek Farmers' Market on Friday, August 28th. We have dog treats, soothing salve, great gummies, full spectrum CBD Oil, and our new beverages: Kuhlt (kombucha based) and Sweltzer (organic ginger, lemon, and lime).

Stop by the Orange tent and help us plan for the new bill that should replace HB328 (which would have closed down the h**p market even quicker than the Federal ban anticipated in November). Fortunately, the Speaker and leadership of the NC House decided to postpone consideration of HB328, and to form a new House committee to work on a better bill.

We need your help to get reason, rationality, and science back in the cannabis discussion in Raleigh and in Washington, DC. Now is the time to send a letter / email / phone call to Robert Reives, District 54, Chatham County, to Renée Price, District 50, Caswell & Orange Counties, and to Allen Buansi, District 56, Orange County. Tell your legislator that you use low dose THC / high dose CBD for health benefits, and that you will support their efforts to help save the low THC / high CBD h**p products that help you reduce inflammation, reduce pain, and improve sleep.

This week Zephyr Family Farm will have a wonderful green called Gongura. It tastes like lemon and is a kid favorite for snacking on raw. Gongura even keeps its flavor when cooked and is great with chicken or in Dal.

We’ll also have spring mix lettuce, Lagos spinach, and more!

The sun will come out .... tomorrow! And the day after. And the day after. Luckily, the sun has brought us Axis Produce SUNFLOWER shoots and lots of Rainbow Mix! Come get these not so spicy power foods this Friday at Briar Chapel. We promise it will be worth the sweaty stroll through our pavilion.

As always, CSA signups and pre orders are encouraged. I guarantee you micros will be a STAR at the Labor Day cookout.

We have rib and loin chops, kebab, leg steaks, shanks, leg roasts, and more in the lamb freezer ready for your table.

Prefer pork? We’ll have our bone-in and boneless pork chops, shoulder roasts, tenderloins, bacon, ham steaks, and a selection of our flavorful sausages.

Coming back in September! Feel free to place an order for beeswax food wraps or beeswax candles, both are great for personal use and make unique gifts. My largest food wrap measures approx. 18x21 inches and is favored by bread lovers. You may also cut it to fit your desired size. Several colors and graphics, 100% cotton fabric, are available including new owl and bee motifs. Add some whimsy to your space!
