Chapel Hill Creamery

Chapel Hill Creamery Hand-crafted farmhouse cheese, whey-fed pork and Animal Welfare Approved pasture-raised beef. Available locally at year round farmers markets.

Found in the southeast at grocery stores and restaurants. Chapel Hill Creamery is a 50-acre dairy and cheese-making farmstead located just minutes from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We specifically chose Jersey cows for the farm, since their rich milk produces a high-quality cheese. Our herd spends its time on lush pastures, and an intensive rotational grazing system has been established to ensure

that the livestock will have access to high-quality grass during the growing season. We milk and make a range of delicious handcrafted artisan cheeses throughout the year. In addition, we raise whey-fed pigs, and produce a range of sausages, cuts of pork and Animal Welfare Approved pasture-raised beef. Chapel Hill Creamery has a strong connection with the local community and is an active participant in events such as the nationally acclaimed Piedmont Farm Tour and Slow Food’s Farm-to-Fork picnic. We are members of Orange County Living Wage.

The color changed! Dairyland Farmers cheese really shows the carotene from the grass in our pastures when spring comes. The grass is plentiful and tender, and the golden color on the right is dramatic. This is our popular unaged and tangy cheese made with our Jersey cows milk. For snacks, salads, tacos. Available in stores and markets.
