We are at North Bedford Farmers Market today until 3pm! We have our chicken, turkey, and duck (including ground turkey!), all of the eggs! Delicious scottish bakes including the popular shortbread, sticky toffee and rocky road! And a selection of freeze-dried candy! Also available are some delicious smoked ribs from Holy Smokes BBQ a full rack for $15 - our orders are in! Don't miss out!

No Scottish bakery would be complete without an offering of Shortbread, and Blake's Bakery at Fender Family Farms is no different. The Toffee Pecan Shortbread you see here is one of over 15 different varieties of Shortbread that we offer. What varieties of this 350 year old family recipe will we have this weekend? Come out to the North Bedford Farmers Market this Saturday to find out! This Shortbread has a near cult following and we sell out of it at every market we attend. If you miss out though, our Shortbread and ALL of our bakery and farm items can be ordered for pick up or delivery!

Baps are a staple in our household and our loyal customers know why! These traditional and versatile bread rolls are typically used for breakfast sandwiches, but we'll admit to eating them any time of day. Baps come in a 4 pack for $5 and they ALWAYS sell out fast so come early!

Tiffin is one of those great Scottish confections that's been around since the early 1900s. Crushed biscuits (our milk chocolate tiffin has gingernuts and digestives mixed with rich chocolate and topped with ganache, it's a rich and sweet treat that goes perfect with a cup of tea!
We will have our milk chocolate tiffin and our white chocolate cranberry tiffin with us this weekend at the North Bedford Farmer's Market this Saturday from 6am until dark

Have you been waiting patiently to find out when our first market day is? Your wait is OVER! We will be at the North Bedford County Farmer's Market at 3320 41 A North , Unionville, TN on SATURDAY APRIL 8 from 6:00 AM - DARK. That's right. ALL DAY.
Come see us and help us make our opening day a success.
We will have fresh eggs, chicken and turkey as well as our freeze dried specialties from The Sweet Shop and of course our traditional Scottish baked goods from Blake's Bakery.
This one is new to our line up this year. It's an old Scottish favorite known as Fly Cemetery. Don't let the name fool you though, it's a delectable fruit slice!

Many of you are used to seeing us at the Henry Horton Farmer's Market every Saturday from May - November. The park has made the decision to close the market this year.
WE will be at the North Bedford Farmers Market the FIRST weekend of every month beginning APRIL 8.
As always, you can order through the website for pick up at the farm or delivery for ANYTHING we sell at www.fenderfamilyfarms.com The bakery is up and running for special orders, please see our website or contact us directly for all of your favorites and we'll see you in Unionville on April 8

Dear vendors and visitors of the Market at Henry Horton:

We regret to inform you that the park will no longer host The Market at Henry Horton, effective this year.

When we started the Market in 2014, we sought to provide fresh and healthy produce from local farmers to the community and park visitors. There were limited farmers’ market options in the area at the time, so Henry Horton State Park stepped up to provide this service to the public when it wasn’t available.

Now, nearly 10 years later, several farmers’ markets have started in the area – Lewisburg, Chapel Hill, Eagleville, Nolensville, Spring Hill, and Unionville – all of which are within a 5-to-20-minute drive of the park. Since these options are now available to the public, we have decided the time is right for us to step aside and pass the baton in carrying out this wonderful community service. This was a tough decision, but the right one for the park, our resources, and our visitors.
