Great day today! Sold out of larges and only went home with 5dz.
We are patiently waiting for a new sheep baby, fences are going up and flower beds and veggies are going in. Please don’t go so fast summer!!!

Owosso Farmers Market is open for business on the rainy day. Besides picking up some fresh Pig Whistle Farm eggs there are plants, flowers, crafts, donuts, sour dough bread, popcorn, Grand Rapids Cheese Co are all ready to serve you. Rain is supposed to let up at 11 so grab that coffee and get ready to support you local vendors and farmers.

For everyone that thinks the herd isnt being hunted, this is just after hunting season. Lots of hunters were allowed. This is the property behind ours and you can see the blinds if you look. A lot of people assumed no one is allowed to hunt. This is not the case!
Keep in mind spring is here and so are new babies! We live in an area where most farmers gladly want them gone.

When we say deer are an issue, we are not kidding!!

EDIT…. For everyone asking, allowing people to hunt isn’t the problem. We do not live in an area with farmers who don’t want the herd thinned out. We have LOTS of family and friends that come out and hunt. For those who keep saying it’s a hunting issue you are incorrect!!
