Pretty happy with this 29/30 day ultrasound. This makes our first confirmed breeding for 2026 and our first AI kids, LaMancha, our Kansas State Fair LaMancha Champion, Love Potion #9 and Rocking-CB KR Riki owned by Redwood Hills.

We started breeding a month later than normal this year - I planned a bit more time off this winter. I am sure that will back fire when I am scrambling with little time between kidding season and show season but thete we have it.

Herd is officially dried off after this weekend. Working on getting breedings confirmed over this next month.

One of our favorite sponsorships is the Buckle for Premiere Youth Exhibitor at the Kansas State Fair.

This award is open for Kansas living only Youth exhibiting at our state fair which is an open Youth show so we get Exhibitors from many states participating but we like to highlight a Kansas Specific Youth for their dedication and success with their dairy goats.

This years winner was Sara Celeen from Leavenworth county. The Buckle finally caught up to her today on the campus of KSU. Thank you - Shelby Varner for delivey services AND Congratulations Sara!!!

* I also want to personally thank Sara as I judged at her local county fair back during county fair season and she was so helpful to her younger siblings, parents, leaders and the other exhitors. Thank you Sara for being more than just a really great goat showman but being a shining future for this industry.

We got word over the weekend that Cream-of-Kansas’ Sugar Berry, the highest-selling Oberhasli at an ADGA-sponsored sale, made it to one of his new homes! And in true Sugar Berry fashion, he was welcomed by a disco ball in the barn, thanks to Shaena Knoll of Paprika Oberhasli. The sparkle lives on after his glitter-covered debut…

Huge thanks to Leroy Satter for getting him there safe and sound. And once again, a big congrats and thank you to Shaena Knoll of Paprika and of Snow View for the winning bid. We’ve got high hopes for what Sugar Berry will bring to your herds… he’s got the genetics and the glam to deliver.

Still catching our breath after an incredible week at the 2025 ADGA National Show… and beyond grateful to share that Cream-of-Kansas’ Sugar Berry sold for $6,000 in the Spotlight Sale. 💫

Congratulations to Angel Rohweder on adding this special buck to your Snow View Oberhasli program, we’re so excited for you and can’t wait to see what he does for your herd. He’s one we believe in with our whole hearts. We also want to sincerely thank everyone who bid on Sugar Berry. Your belief in him helped make history…he is now the highest-selling Oberhasli in ADGA National Sales history. That support means the world to us. 🍓❤️

We would also like to thank Emma and Brandi Giachino for assisting with supporting animal, Kotton during the sale and also for breeding his incredible sire and maternal grandparents. Brandi thank you for making your genetics that line back into some of our original genetics available for these incredible line breedings.

Moments like this don’t happen without an amazing support system, and we are so thankful for the people who showed up for us this week. To the Charlene Moon family, the Christy Motes family, Tim and Mary Schmidt and, and Jonathan Laner —your help, encouragement, and presence mean more than we can say. Thank you for being part of this chapter.

From the barn to the ring to the sale…Sugar Berry’s story is one we’ll always be proud of. 🐐✨
